EION Acquires Data Network Solutions Company Layer 10
Ottawa Based EION Inc. Boasts End-to-End Network Capability 

Ottawa, Canada – July 3, 2009 – EION Inc., a manufacturer of broadband wireless products today announced it has acquired Calgary based Layer 10 Solutions Inc, an international network solutions integrator. This transaction is part of EION’s planned growth strategy to provide end-to-end network solutions to its strategic customers worldwide.
 
The acquisition will expand the size of EION’s operations in Calgary. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

Layer 10 Solutions, based in Calgary, Alberta brings innovative, cost-effective connectivity and networking solutions to a diverse client base in Central America, Western Canada, Western United States, and the Caribbean Islands. Layer 10 has partnered with Bluecoat, Dell, H3C, InfoBlox, and MRV and others to provide integrated network solutions to its customers. Layer 10 customers include governments, at the federal, state and municipal level, oil and gas firms and international banks. Layer 10 creates broadband wireless, wired and fibre networks and storage area networks with a strong focus on security infrastructure.
